WHY THIS BLOG ?

Hi Friends:

You must have been bemused many a time, over any inadvertent mention of the Third Eye. In fact anything away from the visible spectrum of the eye becomes suspect because of our overly dependence upon the visible. But the fact is that what the two eyes can see is only a speck in the vast ocean of existence. Those fortunate souls who know how to operate the Third Eye have an access to the infinite realm of consciousness. Jesus says, if therefore, thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. All our five senses of sight, touch, taste, hearing and smell operate in the phenomenal world. They are a great help in our day to day chores. But none of these can access the inner world, for the simple reason that they look outward. Only the Third eye, located between the two eyebrows, looks inward. If we look outward all the time, as mostly we do, we deplete our inner reservoir of love, light and laughter.

You can understand what I mean if you stop at a busy cross-roads and watch the huge mass of humanity hurtling past you in a tearing hurry, from nowhere to nowhere. You may see a harried, lost, scared look in their eyes. I am not a Messiah or a Bodhisattva come to liberate humanity, but I will be talking about Messiahas and Bodhisattvas who have helped deliver mankind from its woes. I will be talking of everything that brings us closer to the Third Eye, that helps us in bringing forth, what Hillary Clinton so beautifully put recently: habits of the heart.

Without exception, everybody, at one time or the other, stops to have a look at himself. Without being aware of what he is doing, he is in fact trying to get inside himself. But being ignorant of the path, he either dissuades himself from persuing it or else falls a prey to some cult or creed that promises instant redressal of his woes. My dear friends, I have started this blog to empower you to help yourself because it is only you who can help yourself. Stay where you are. You don't have to leave your place, you don't have to part with your money or time.

Know that from silence we have come and into silence we will go. In the interregnum is the Word, which is necessary. The Word produces sound, but let not the sound become a cacophany. As long as there is cadence, sound is welcome, like the tick tock of a clock. But let not the tick tock turn into a faulty siren. Recognize that silence contains sound. Therefore it is always possible to become silent. And if you learn how to become silent, love , light, and laughter are not far off. Follow this blog to see how cacophony becomes cadence.

Om Shantih
