Once it was a flying horse , Pegasus.
Milkha was Indian; Pegasus, a Greek
the one was real, the other allegorical!
To let in Pegasus, Medusa had to go
For Good to enter, Evil had had to go.
Pegasus was hostile to sinful forces
But helped anyone who called, Hello!
Try to imagine a strikingly white steed
So endowed with wings, to fly in need.
Strapping, alluring, ever willing to help.
You got the picture of Pegasus, indeed!
Pegasus helped Perseus, son of Zeus
Rescue the jittery Aethiopian princess,
Andromeda, from sea monster Cetus.
Andromeda became queen of Greece.
Perseus wed her, took her to Greece.
Next Pegasus aided Bellerophontes,
the Corinthian, kill the fire-breathing
demon Chimera in a duel, like geese.
Pegasus is visible now in a new avtar
It is capturing headlines, near and far.
Old one sits snugly as a constellation.
Is avtar anywhere near its progenitor?
What is in a name? Said Shakespeare
A rose will be a rose sans any fanfare.
Hope Pegasus remains Pegasus, even
If, a software is made to do a malware!
Om Shantih
Ajit Sambodhi.
