People use colours and paints deftly
So as to carve out designs amicably
But in Holi, our aim is to get giggles
Holi festival harnesses joy intensely!
We apply colour to each other’s face
Then nobody can recognise any face
Becoming nobodies we merge in One
Skylarking works as promise of grace!
So let’s play Holi, it’s tremendous fun
Invite everyone to join, it harms none
In this era of bombs, shrieks and death
Let it be a catalyst of joy for everyone!
