Nailed to the Cross, He thought of us;
"for they know not what they do", He
Continued in great compassion for us.
He bestowed upon us, inner awareness
By elevating our physical consciousness
To the heights of spiritual consciousness
At the crucial time of extreme hardness.
"Let thy will be done", He knelt on his knee
Knowing well, "one of you shall betray me".
He unveiled "the kingdom of God" within
Of which He happened to be the trustee.
